This house with soul and past in the center of Madrid is just what its owners wanted: to have an elegant house, and in a unique location, to inhabit it occasionally every time they arrive in the capital.When they visited this apartment located in the Four Seasons residential team of the Canalejas center, they immediately appreciated the historical value of the project, its architectural size, and knew it was the space they were looking for.The Lamela architecture study has been the author of the great metamorphosis of the seven emblematic buildings that brings together this relevant complex.One of them welcomes luxury homes.
The apartment that concerns us, composed of two rooms with a suite bathroom and a living room connected to the kitchen, has a refined classic air based on high roofs, noble carpentry, balconies inspired by the originals of the facades and high materials quality. You just have to stop at the marble of the bathrooms and in the oak wood of the soils, with a waxed finish that grants it an incredible naturalness. It was only missing from the house a home, printing the urban contemporary style and without stridency that its Owners yearned to enjoy quiet environments. This is transmitted to the Melián Randolph study, which was in charge of the decoration. The scenery conceived by this team has demonstrated masterful use of textures and elegant colors to create exclusive and at the same time timeless outfits. In them, the walls have been loaded with visual force and warmth by striking coatings, accompanied by a sober and sophisticated color palette: for the living room, black smoke and touches of beis, and in the main bedroom, a deep navy blue. The privileged natural light that bathes interiors has allowed us to raise these intense tones without losing clarity or harmony. Everything in the project contributes to creating an elegant home and with the necessary comfort. Therefore, natural fabrics coexist with textile accessories of silk and velvet, and art, mostly Spanish artists, reaffirms the wonderful past of the building.
