Successful entrepreneurs despite the virus

Among those entrepreneurial businesses we highlight: Solar Plus. Tenderup, Guimarana, CerreFit, Arkimista and Qcreativa. These companies agree on a common search: "Having the freedom to dedicate yourself to what you like," they say. Some of the entrepreneurs in the Region say that training is very important and criticize the easy entrepreneurship they carry out in society.

These six companies have realized their ideals in confinement. "It is important to have things very clear before starting to undertake, when someone has a lot of passion for something, you grow," they say. For this reason, the entrepreneurial spirit for these freelancers is "to contribute with a small contribution to the world, in order to try to improve it," they specify.

In addition, they ensure that anyone who wants to undertake "does not have to be left with the doubt of what would have happened."

Getting to make food that is as healthy and tasty as possible

Guimarana is a company created by Antonio García Arnau in order to offer new healthy products

"I already have clients who want to try my products, I have to continue to work to enhance what the public is asking of me." This is how Antonio Arnau's company is currently after starting his business in confinement. García tells LA OPINIÓN his taste for cooking and affirms that it all started when he signed up for the gym. «It was at this moment when I began to take the diet that they sent me.

I started to innovate with food and gave it a try. Apparently they liked it a lot », she says. Currently, García is self-employed and is in charge of the company alone, although he has the help of his wife. "A good photographer friend also collaborates with me who brings me the image of my company and my products," he stresses. Of all the foods, the ones that are having the most sales are "vegetable pâtés and jam," he reports. "I am organizing to make a production four times larger, if before I made 400 now I want to make 1000."

"We like order and the clothesline in the middle of the corridor made us uncomfortable"

Silvia and Alberto ran into a problem that made the public uncomfortable, and that's how Tenderup appeared

Successful entrepreneurs despite the virus

Silvia and Alberto decided to start a new business to solve a problem that arose during the confinement. "I thought that it only happened to us and in the end it was not like that," they confirm. Day after day they were bothered by the lack of space in their home. "When we put the clothesline in the middle of the hallway or dining room, it took up a lot of space," the couple says. For this reason, they decided to find a solution, since due to Covid the weeks inside the homes increased. "We decided to create a clothesline that instead of being horizontal was vertical," they say.

Therefore, seeing that this problem was not only within their home, they decided to patent this idea. "We are very happy because in Spain we have already sold in almost all points," they clarify. "We have even crossed borders, taking our product to other countries such as Italy, France and Germany" he concludes.

Transferring a story from something that is anchored in foundations

Helping in associations and collaborating in different groups is Arkimista's new project

The architect and passionate about design Helia De San Nicolás Juárez has been making jewelery for several years in which she captures the structure of different buildings. The objective of her company, as reported by Helia to LA OPINIÓN, is "to transfer something that is anchored in foundations to get her story moving through people."

The arrival of the confinement left the last jewel that was about to go on sale stagnant. "Finally, the jewel with the Casa Real building has been put up for sale, in the shops of Madrid," explains Helia. This paralysis has made him change some ideas that did not work for years. "I have been aware that architecture can also be disseminated digitally," he remarks. In addition, Helia highlights the need for a collection that recognizes the merit of many groups: "I am going to start solidarity collections and the fight against cancer is already underway."

"You don't have to go hungry to live a healthy life"

After the benefit achieved by making itself known on the networks, Cerrefit announces the opening of another store

Just one month before the doors of the homes closed, Alejandro Cerrejón started a new business. In the month of February this young man opened his first healthy products store. "When they confined us I was scared, even the first weeks I had losses," says Alejandro. Even knowing that, being a grocery store, Cerrejón could continue to be open, he confirms that he began to move a lot on social networks: "So that people would know about my new business," he affirms.

Alejandro assures that these benefits have been obtained thanks to his mobility through virtual platforms. But this food store is not only aimed at athletes, Alejandro reports that "it is a store for all those people who want to take care of themselves." What this young man wants is to move society away from "a monotonous diet." Following the positive response from its customers, it has decided to open another, larger store in Gran Via.

Save on bills to contribute to improving the environment

Mateo and Juan Antonio venture into the business world with an improvement project called Solar Plus

“We started the idea before the confinement but it was during that period “when the final hatching emerged”, explain Mateo and Juan Atonio, owners of the Solar Plus company. With the improvement of the environment during confinement, these two 25-year-old boys decided to continue collaborating for this progress by promoting the consumption of solar panels. "The idea is to observe how much is saved on customer bills and in this way that the public collaborates against pollution through less harmful and cheaper consumption," reports Mateo.

Entrepreneurship in a sector where materials are more expensive is one of the barriers that these two young people have had to face: «The problem of high bargaining power to access the purchase of materials and not having the economic resources to do that investment". Although they assure that "we are not having losses, but we still do not know the improvement."

“It is important for companies to have a good website”

Ana Silla Díaz founds Qcreativa to improve the digital sections of companies, enhancing their websites

For Ana Silla Díaz, Digital Marketing is an exciting world, but she stresses that there are drawbacks that leave this work in the background. "Many people do not understand this world since it is not something tangible, people do not know exactly what you are charging them," he says. Even so, Ana decided to undertake something in quarantine that she had been looking for for years "During the confinement I registered, I created my company and I started fixing and making web pages”, he explains. This start has led him to get new proposals: "Currently I already have new offers, among them is Solar Plus", he says.

He assures that taking the step in this world is satisfactory but it is complicated: "leaving aside the general regime of workers and starting as a self-employed person is quite a difficult step." After seeing that her business is having benefits, the businesswoman sets new future goals. "I want to set up my agency and be able to have an office," he clarifies.

"At the moment I am alone with a collaborator who is a graphic designer" "I have achieved the benefits I expected, to have started in confinement".
