An 80 carat diamond for a historical jewel

"The new necklace with the coil diamond is the most expensive jewel that Tiffany has put on sale throughout its history," sources from the firm have revealed Thursday.The design will be exposed to the public in 2022 when the doors of the mythical store of Fifth Avenue after two years of remodeling are reopened.

The great aquamarine that was gathered in the original design of that necklace will be replaced in this reissue with an "oval diamond of 80 -carats of weight, the largest diamond that Tiffany has put on sale in its 183 years of history, only surpassed by the mythical Tiffany Diamond, of incalculable value, which is not for sale.

Reynolds has pointed out that the necklace reflects the history and legacy of the brand as the luxury jewelry par excellence of New York City, whose founder, Charles L.Tiffany, was nicknamed "The King of Diamonds".
